Terminate EC2 Instance

This section provides information about how to terminate the EC2 instance. You can terminate the EC2 instance from the Sources and Virtual Standby pages.

Follow these steps:

1. Do one of the following:
• If you are a Super Admin, Admin, or Tenant Admin, go to Protect > Sources.
• If you are an MSP Super Admin or MSP Admin, go to Protect, click the icon of a customer name, and then navigate to Disaster Recovery > Virtual Standby.
2. From the Action drop-down list of a source for which you want to terminate the EC2 instance, select Terminate EC2 Instance.
3. The confirmation dialog appears.
3. Click OK to confirm. Click Cancel to stop the termination process.

Note: If a source is not having any successful VSB to EC2 jobs, such a source does not have the Terminate EC2 Instance option.

The EC2 instance is terminated successfully.
