Verify the Policy

To verify the Assured Security - Malware Scan feature, confirm that you have successfully added the Assured Security - Malware Scan task to a policy. After you verify that the policy is created successfully, check whether the backup or copy job is running as scheduled. The Assured Security - Malware Scan job runs after the backup or copy job is successfully completed. You can check the status of the backup or copy job, and Assured Security - Malware Scan jobs from the Reports tab.

To verify policy, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Protect > Policies.
  2. A list of all the policies is displayed in the center pane.
  3. Verify that the policy is mapped with a source.

Verify the Status of Assured Security - Malware Scan Job

From the Sources page

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Protect > Sources.
  2. Click the name of the source.
  3. The Jobs page opens.
  4. Verify that the backup or copy, and Assured Security - Malware Scan jobs are successful.
  5. The Assured Security - Malware Scan job is successfully verified.

From the Reports tab

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Jobs.
  2. On the Jobs page, verify that the status of Assured Security - Malware Scan job is successful.
