Installation Steps

To install ImageManager:

1. Launch the ImageManager installer (ImageManagerSetup.exe).
2. You can find the ImageManager installer on the Arcserve Software Updates page.
3. Warning! Run the installation as a Windows administrator to prevent losing settings from previous installations. Right click on the ImageManagerSetup.exe file then select Run as administrator.
2. Select the language then click OK.
3. Click Next on the ImageManager Wizard Welcome page.
4. Follow the steps in the Installation Wizard to install the ImageManager software.
Default Installation Location Change (ImageManager 8.0.4 and newer):

For new (fresh) installations, starting with ImageManager 8.0.4 the default installation path will be:

C:\Program Files\Arcserve\ImageManager\

Note: If you are using automated scripts you'll need to update them for this new path.

Upgrades from older versions of ImageManager to version 8.0.4 (or newer), retain the existing installation path. The previous default path (for ImageManager versions prior to 8.0.4) was:

5. Click Finish when the installation is finished.
6. Reboot the computer to ensure all drivers load properly.
7. Click Start > Programs > Arcserve > Arcserve ImageManager to start ImageManager.
