Type
  • Local drive: Replicate to any locally attached device.
  • Network drive: Replicate to a network resource such as a server, NAS, or BDR.
  • intelligentFTP: Replicate remotely using iFTP.
  • Arcserve ShadowStream server: Replicate remotely using ShadowStream.
  • Arcserve Legacy ShadowStream server: Replicate remotely using Legacy ShadowStream.
  • VMware ESX/ESXi Server: Replicate to a VMware server. Only used for HSR.
  • Amazon S3 Compatible Storage: Replicate remotely to an Amazon IAM (AWS) user account using an S3 bucket.
  • Arcserve Cloud Cyber Resilient Storage.
Name (Optional) Enter a descriptive name for the location.
Path Enter the path for the location.

Note: The specified path must be valid UNC path.

Authentication Enter the credentials (if needed) to access the location.

To Delete a Location

  1. Note: ImageManager can't delete a Location that is in use by a replication job. You must first modify or delete that job before deleting the Location.
  2. Click on the location you want to remove.
  3. Click on the This image is not available because: You don’t have the privileges to see it, or it has been removed from the system icon at the upper-right of the dialog.
  4. ImageManager removes the selected destination location from this agent's list.

To Modify a Location

  1. Select the location you want to modify.
  2. Click the Edit icon .
  3. In the Location Settings dialog, modify the location's path or credentials.
  4. Click Save to save your changes.

The agent job is now configured to use the new settings for this Location.
