ImageManager versions 7.6.0 (and newer) allow you to utilize Microsoft Hyper-V for advanced verification.

VirtualBox
Staggered releases of ImageManager and ShadowProtect SPX may not always support the same versions of VirtualBox. For systems using VirtualBox for both ShadowProtect SPX and ImageManager, ensure the installed VirtualBox version is compatible with both products. See the SPX User Guide for compatible versions.
The table below lists the most recent supported versions of VirtualBox that are compatible with ImageManager. Download the specific supported version of VirtualBox that you need.

Important: Advanced verification requires the Oracle Virtual Box extension pack for the VirtualBoot feature to work.
Note: VirtualBox 6.1.20 is the latest supported version for installing ImageManager on Windows 2008 R2. Oracle does not support the VirtualBox 5.2 family on Windows 2008 R2.
Important:Advanced verification on Windows Server 2025 using Oracle VirtualBox is currently not supported. Use Hyper-V to run Advance verification on Windows Server 2025.
