Activating Arcserve Product License Online

The Online Activation option lets you view and activate licenses for one or more products available on a server. You can assign or reassign a license pool and then verify license activation status from the product console.

Follow these steps:

1. Select a server from the list.
2. Products related to selected server appear in the Product table.
2. From the drop-down option of Change License Pool, select a pool and click Apply.
3. Note: The selected pool is applied to all the products displayed under Product Name.
4. A confirmation message appears informing that the license pool is assigned to the selected product(s).
3. Click OK in the confirmation message.
4. You can view the license pool assigned.
4. From the Arcserve Product Console, verify if the license is activated.
5. For example: After activating license for Arcserve UDP to view all applied licenses, from the Arcserve UDP Console, navigate to the Help>Activate and License Management window and click the License Management tab.
