Configuring Shares in the AD environment

To add a Share

• Login to OneSystem.
• Click on the desired cluster to bring up the cluster Overview.
• Click the Shares tab on the left navigation of the web page.
• Click Add Share.

Since OneXafe has been authenticated with Active Directory, the options for Adding a Share look like this:

• Enter a Share Name and description (if desired).
• Restricted to Active Directory Users will be the access policy applied to all SMB shares within the OneXafe cluster.

This will create a share that is read/write accessible to all registered Active Directory Users in your organization. Now any Domain Admin or Delegated AD Admin may change the permissions or ACLs within the share as desired (see “Active Directory Users and Computers”).

• Delegate admins, users, and/or groups may be added to the share if desired. This will give explicit AD ACL control to the members listed.
• Click Save.
