Starting Up
- On the same network with the OneXafe, use a PC browser with the discovered IP address to access the OneXafe WebConsole.
- The WebConsole is used to configure the OneXafe network settings and to create a cluster with 1 to 7 OneXafe appliances.
- The network settings configured in the WebConsole are the Static IP address, DNS, NTP Server, bond mode, OneSystem URL and other items.
- When logging into the WebConsole, the default user name is ‘admin’ and default password is ‘config’.
- A WebConsole password change is automatically required with the first login.
- NOTE: If OneXafe is deployed on a network with no DHCP server, it will have a non-routable self-assigned IP address after a 15 minute boot time.
- Please refer to the networking section in the User Guide for more details.
- After confirming the desired cluster configuration and the startup process is complete, the WebConsole will display, “OneXafe is ready for use”.
- Note: If using Active Directory for authentication, register the OneXafe cluster with Active Directory before configuring share access.
