Starting Up

  1. On the same network with the OneXafe, use a PC browser with the discovered IP address to access the OneXafe WebConsole.
  2. The WebConsole is used to configure the OneXafe network settings and to create a cluster with 1 to 7 OneXafe appliances.
  3. The network settings configured in the WebConsole are the Static IP address, DNS, NTP Server, bond mode, OneSystem URL and other items.
  4. When logging into the WebConsole, the default user name is ‘admin’ and default password is ‘config’.
  5. A WebConsole password change is automatically required with the first login.
  6. NOTE: If OneXafe is deployed on a network with no DHCP server, it will have a non-routable self-assigned IP address after a 15 minute boot time.
  7. Please refer to the networking section in the User Guide for more details.
  8. After confirming the desired cluster configuration and the startup process is complete, the WebConsole will display, “OneXafe is ready for use”.
  9. Note: If using Active Directory for authentication, register the OneXafe cluster with Active Directory before configuring share access.
