For Unsupported or Untested Windows ADK Versions
If the installed Windows ADK version is not officially recognized or tested with the Recovery Environment Builder tool, the raw version number along with a warning indicator will be displayed similar to the ADK compatibility warning shown in the image below:
This ADK compatibility warning:
- Ensures that the ADK was found and detected correctly.
- Indicates that the detected ADK version is not explicitly supported or tested.
- Allows users to proceed while still being aware of potential compatibility risks.
