SharePoint Considerations

• If the SharePoint site is selected for backup, all users attached to that site are counted.
• By default, some SharePoint sites have all users attached to the site.
• You can minimize SharePoint by selecting fewer sites to be protected or removing unneeded users from the sites. See Reducing the Number of Seats.
• Keepit tracks Full and Light licenses from Microsoft based on the subscription type. Arcserve uses only one license type. All Arcserve licenses are equal.
• Shared Mailboxes are only charged for a seat if Microsoft charges for the license.

* SharePoint is often considered to be the high watermark. For example, if you have 60 seats in SharePoint but only have 45 seats in Teams you'll be charged for 60 seats.
