This release:
- Eliminates support for Windows 2000 EndPoints.
- Adds port 5556 as a second required port (along with either port 443 or 8443) for appliance communication.
- Significantly reduces network traffic for EndPoint-to-Appliance communications. This allows each CMD Appliance to have over 1000 subscribed endpoints.
- Automatically updates each subscribed EndPoint client after an update to the Appliance. (Available only for CMD appliance and client versions 1.1.1 and newer).
- Automatically updates each subscribed Appliance after updating the Portal. (Available only for CMD appliance and client versions 1.1.1 and newer).
- Adds a remote activation option for EndPoints with ShadowProtect installed (Available only for ShadowProtect versions 4.2.5 or newer).
- Supports custom branding of reports and alert notifications.
- Adds an additional report on storage usage with forecasting of backup storage needs.
- Displays resource usage for the CMD appliance on the Appliance System Info page.
- Enhances status reporting to reduce false Status Rule failures.
- Streamlines the Appliance Settings page.
- Supports custom SSL certificates.
- Uses EndPoint or Appliance local time rather than UTC time in reports and on-screen displays. You can set the Appliance timezone during the installation routine, or later on the Settings page.
