Restore Backup Files to a VirtualDisk File

SPX can restore a volume's backup image chain into a VHD, VHDX or VMDK virtual disk file.

Note: Restore to File does not create a bootable disk partition table. Use the Recovery Environment to restore an OS volume.

To restore an image to a virtual disk file, run Restore Volume using one of these options:

• Image Chain Browser
