Ports and Domains for Arcserve Cloud Storage and Arcserve Cloud Cyber Resilient Storage
To enable communication with Arcserve Cloud storage endpoints through a firewall, it is recommended to whitelist the appropriate Arcserve Cloud service domains and open the required network ports.
To ensure uninterrupted connectivity between your applications and Arcserve Cloud services, configure your firewall using the following settings:
- Open Communication Ports
- The following table lists the ports used by Arcserve Cloud Storage and Arcserve Cloud Cyber Resilient Storage:
- Arcserve Cloud Storage and Arcserve Cloud Cyber Resilient Storage do not require any custom ports. All communication occurs over standard HTTP/HTTPS (ports 80 and 443) using Arcserve REST APIs. After selecting Arcserve Cloud in the Arcserve UDP Console, configure the connection by providing your Access Key ID and Secret Access Key. This establishes secure API connections to your Arcserve Cloud buckets for storage and immutable backups.
- For details about additional ports used by the UDP Console, UDP Recovery Point Server (RPS), and Agent, see Components Installed on Microsoft Windows.
- Whitelist the following URLs and Arcserve Cloud Service Domains
- Add firewall rules to allow outbound traffic for the URLs listed below and the corresponding Arcserve Cloud Storage generic or region-specific service domains. Additionally, make sure to whitelist your corresponding public DNS URL (for example, *.cloudflare.net).
