Backward Compatibility Support for Linux Backup Server

For Linux Backup Server 10.0, 9.x and 8.x:

• Arcserve UDP 10.1 Console supports Linux Backup Server of version 8.x, 9.x, and 10.0 when the recovery point servers (RPS) has Arcserve UDP 10.1. All jobs run smoothly, except for the new feature or enhancement in UDP  10.1.
• Arcserve UDP 10.1 Console supports recovery point servers (RPS) and Linux Backup server of version 8.x, 9.x, and 10.0. All jobs run smoothly, except for the new feature or enhancement in UDP 10.1.
