Supported Versions for Upgrade

Important! For information about the latest supported versions for upgrade, see UDP 10.1.

Arcserve UDP 10.0 provides upgrade and backward compatibility according to the following rules:

• Arcserve UDP UDP 10.0 supports upgrade from Arcserve UDP version 9.x and 8.x.
• Note: Arcserve UDP 10.0 no longer supports Microsoft Office 365 backup plans. Any Office 365 backup plans created in previous versions of Arcserve UDP will fail to run. However, this upgrade does not affect the ability to restore Office 365 data from backups made in earlier versions.
• If you are using UDP 8.0 or an older version, first upgrade to an intermediate version such as UDP 9.0 before upgrading to UDP 10.0.
