Verify the Backup

To verify your backup job, confirm that you have successfully created the backup plan. After you verify that the plan is created successfully, confirm whether the backup job is running as scheduled. You can verify the status of backup jobs from the Jobs tab.

Follow these steps to verify plans:

  1. Click the resources tab.
  2. From the left pane, navigate to Nodes, and then click All Nodes.
  3. A list of all nodes is displayed on the center pane.
  4. Verify that plans are mapped with nodes.

Follow one of these methods to verify backup jobs:

Method 1

  1. Click the jobs tab.
  2. From the left pane, click All Jobs Completed.
  3. The status of each job is listed on the center pane.
  4. Verify that the backup job is successful.

    5. The backup job is verified.

Method 2

  1. Click the jobs tab.
  2. From the left pane, click Jobs Successfully Completed.
  3. The list of backup jobs completed appear on the center pane.
  4. Click the job you want to verify.
  5. The right pane refreshes.
  6. Under Job Details, click the View Logs hyperlink.
  7. Verify that the backup job is successful.

    8. The backup job is verified.
