Arcserve UDP Exchange Granular Restore (AEGR) Utility Related

• Failed to restore the calendar items.
• Symptom
• The restore of Calendar items fails when you use Arcserve UDP Exchange Granular Restore Utility in Exchange 2013 CU18 environment.
• Solution
• Use the Export to PST option to restore the calendar items.
• When using Arcserve UDP Exchange Granular Restore Utility, all the properties are not restored to the live Server.
• Symptom
• After a restore job, the following properties are not properly restored:
  • InternetHeaders
  • RTFCompressed
  • Codepage
  • DateCompleted
  • TaskRecurrence
  • RecurrencePattern
  • AppointmentTimeZoneDefinitionEndDisplay
  • ReminderTime
  • CommonEnd
  • AppointmentStartWhole
  • AppointmentEndWhole
  • BusyStatus
  • Meeting Owner
  • Company Name of Task
• Solution
• Use the Export to PST option to restore the missing properties.

• Symptom
• An older version of the standalone Exchange Granular Restore utility is not removed after deploying the Arcserve UDP Agent.
• Solution
• This problem can occur due to the following conditions:
  • If an older version of a standalone Exchange Granular Restore utility is installed before or after deploying the Arcserve UDP Agent.
  • Two versions of the Exchange Granular Restore utility exist in the system.
  • All shortcuts point to the old version of the Exchange Granular Restore utility Setup folder.

• To address the issue, perform one of the following resolutions:
• Before or after deploying the Arcserve UDP Agent, manually uninstall the Exchange Granular Restore utility from Control Panel.
• If you run the current version of the Exchange Granular Restore utility, verify that the older version of the Exchange Granular Restore utility is closed. Otherwise, the older version continues to run while the current version is executed.
• Open the new version of Exchange Granular Restore utility from the following Setup folder before uninstalling the old version of the standalone Exchange Granular Restore utility:
