Copy Recovery Point Related
- Copy Recovery Point (CRP) does not support the VHD backup format.
- In a given node, you are not allowed to run two copy recovery point jobs at the same time.
- Recovery points of nodes having the same host name in a plan are copied to the same destination directory in cloud.
- Makeup jobs are not supported for Copy Recovery Point.
- Copy Recovery Point job does not start from the location where the last job failed.
- During upload, at times some data is not deleted. We recommend that you configure the Life Cycle Management settings on Bucket in Amazon Console. Create a rule and select End and Clean up Incomplete Multipart Uploads.
- When CRP job is in progress, On-Demand copy recovery point to cloud is not supported.
- If you remotely replicate the backup sessions using replication\replicate to remote RPS on Managed Service Provider (MSP), then CRP to cloud is not supported.
- Recovery points of CIFS nodes with common prefix of 64 characters are uploaded to same node name destination folder.
- CRP download is not supported if the VM name has the following special characters:
- '"' , '>' , '<' , '*' , '?' , '|' , ':' , '/'
- In the Console, when you browse ad-hoc Copy Recovery Point on a node after changing the node name, the recovery points of the node are displayed with earlier node name.
- For Example, a node named "Node1" is changed to "Node 2" after performing some backups with backup destination as "Backup_Destination". The ad-hoc copy recovery point browser displays recovery points of the node with earlier node name Node1.
Example: Following CIFS nodes would be uploaded to same destination folder
<Common_64chars_path>\node1
<Common_64chars_path>\node2
<Common_64chars_path>\node3
Also, Download recovery point window for these CIFS node would show recovery points of all such nodes.
