Suspend Users Using the User Profile Utility

The User Profile Utility lets you temporarily suspend users from logging in to and using Arcserve Backup.

To suspend users using the User Profile Utility

1. Open the Arcserve Backup Manager Console.

   From the Quick Start Menu select Administration and click User Profile.

   The User Profile utility opens.

2. Select the user that you want to modify and click Properties on the toolbar.

   The User Properties dialog opens.

3. Click the General tab.

   In the Status field, click Suspend.

   Click OK.

   The user is suspended.

Note: To reactivate users, perform the above steps and click Active in the Status field.
