User Profile Utility

The User Profile Utility lets the administrator manage user profiles and provide access to Arcserve Backup.

When you install Arcserve Backup, the caroot user profile is set up, by default, with the administrator group assigned to it. The Administrator group provides control over all Arcserve Backup functions operating within a given Arcserve Backup domain.

Using the User Profile utility Arcserve Backup server administrators can:

• Add a user.
• Delete a user.
• Change a user's password.
• Assign a user to a group.
