Licensing Requirements for Raw Backup of Physical Disks and Volumes

You must have the following licenses to use the raw backup of physical disks and volumes feature:

• License for the Arcserve Backup Client Agent for each server on which you want to use the feature
• License for the Arcserve Backup Enterprise Module for each server from which you want to back up the client agents

Example: Licensing requirements for raw backup of physical disks and volumes

If you want to use the raw backup of physical disks and volumes feature on servers A, B, and C, you must install a license for the Arcserve Backup Client Agent on all three servers. In addition, you must register one license for the Enterprise Module on the backup server from which you back up these three servers.
