Update Multiple Jobs

In your Arcserve Backup environment, you can have several to many jobs listed in the Job Queue. If a situation arises where you need to change the READY or HOLD status on more than one job, you can update multiple jobs simultaneously. The updates that you can perform simultaneously include changing the job status from HOLD to READY, from READY to HOLD, and delete the job.

Note: When you select a job that contains child jobs, Arcserve Backup applies the update to the parent job and all of its child jobs.

To update multiple jobs

1. From the Job Status Manager, select the Job Queue tab.
2. Click to select the job that you want to update.
   • To select multiple adjacent jobs, press and hold the Shift key as you select the jobs.
   • To select multiple non-adjacent jobs, press and hold the Ctrl key as you select the jobs.
3. Right-click the selected jobs.
4. From the pop-up menu, select HOLD, READY, or Delete Job as warranted by the situation.
