Library configuration involves tape drive configuration and tape volume assignment. Whenever you add or remove tape drives or change your tape volume assignments on the tape library, you must update the library configuration with these changes.
Important! You must stop the Tape Engine service to update the library configuration when tape drive and tape volume changes.
