In this release, the WinPE (Windows Preinstallation Environment) Disaster Recovery CD is no longer integrated with the Arcserve Backup Installation DVD. You now need to create the WinPE Disaster Recovery CD manually.
During installation, Arcserve Backup provides a link to download the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 8 and Windows Automation Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows 7 from the Microsoft website. With Windows ADK or AIK installed, you can create Windows WinPE disaster recovery images to recover computers running the following operating systems from a disaster:
