Document Level Backup or Browse for Exchange Server 2013 Does Not Work When the CAS Server Name is Inaccessible

Symptom

The document level backup or browse for Exchange Server 2013 may not work if the CAS server name that is returned from the Outlook Autodiscover becomes inaccessible or is not functioning correctly.

Solution:

To correct this problem, you need to provide a working CAS server name in the configuration section of the Autodiscover.ini file.
