Agent Options
Agent Options let you specify backup job options on a per-database basis or define a set of default options for all databases.
Database Consistency Check Options
These options test the physical and logical consistency of a database.
Database Level Agent Options
Options you apply to only the selected database to extend or override Global Option/Agent Options.
Database Subset Options
Database subset options let you define the database components you want to protect, i.e., the entire database, or files and FileGroups.
Dynamic Job Packaging
A method of packaging backup jobs that automatically selects for backup all the components of the selected object, i.e., child volumes and files.
Explicit Job Packaging
A method of backup job packaging that lets you pick the objects for backup individually, without regard for parent objects.
Global Options Agent Options
Global Options/Agent Options let you set default job options for all SQL Server Agent objects.
Universal Agent Service
Service shared with Arcserve Backup Agents, including the Agent for Microsoft SQL Server, that provides a single point of access for backup and restore operations. The service dynamically recognizes new agents as they are installed.
