Configure Agents
Arcserve Backup Central Agent Admin lets you configure the following Arcserve Backup agents from a central location:
- Client Agent for Windows
- Agent for Microsoft SQL Server
To configure agents
- Open the Arcserve Backup Manager Console. From the Quick Start Menu, select Administration and click Central Agent Admin.
The Central Agent Admin window opens.
- Select an agent on the server.
Right-click an agent and select Configuration.
The Configuration dialog appears with a list of agents that you can configure.
- Select the agent you want to configure and update the settings.
- (Optional). Click Apply to Multiple to apply the same settings to multiple agent machines.
- Click OK to complete the agent configuration.
To set debug level registry settings
- Select an agent on the server.
- Right-click an agent and select Set Debug Level on the pop-up menu.
The Set Debug Level dialog opens.
- Set the appropriate debug level such as Normal, Detail, Debug, or Trace, and click OK.
The debug level registry settings for the agent is now complete.
