Configuring your tape volumes consists of assigning tape volumes to create the logical library on the Arcserve Backup server. Review your tape volume assignment plan before you assign the tape volumes.
After you configure the tape drives, all tape volumes in the StorageTek ACSLS library are shown in the Volume Configuration dialog. Initially, the tape volumes are not assigned to the Arcserve Backup server. The unassigned status is indicated by a red slash through the tape volume icon.
