Prepare to Perform a Backup Job

Before you submit a backup job, complete the following tasks:

Verify the integrity of the data in the database. To verify data integrity, open the database in a Lotus Domino client and review the contents for any discrepancies or errors.
Specify the logon information for the Arcserve Backup Agent for Lotus Domino.
Create a configuration file in the Arcserve Backup server home directory.
Start Lotus Domino.
