Configure NDMP Version 3
When a NAS server supports NDMP Version 3, you can configure the nas.cfg file for partial-volume backups. The NDMP NAS Option cannot determine volume mappings for these servers. To perform partial-volume backups, you must include the paths in the configuration file.
To enter the path information
- Open the nas.cfg file located in the <base install>\NAS Option folder.
- On the first line, enter the host name of the NAS server.
- Enter each absolute path, starting with the logical device name, on separate lines following the host name of the NAS server.
- Enter a semicolon to end each server configuration.
- Save the file.
