Agent for Oracle Recovery Manager Configuration

The following information is required to configure the Agent for Oracle Recovery Manager.

Local Machine Information:

Local Machine User

The logon name of the local user that is a member of the Administrators group.

Local Machine Password

The password for the local machine user.

Confirm Local Machine Password

Confirm the local machine password by entering it again.

Arcserve Backup Server Information:

Arcserve Backup Server Domain

The Domain name of the Arcserve Backup Server.

Arcserve Backup Server

The name of the machine on which Arcserve Backup is installed.

Arcserve Backup Server User

The long name of the Arcserve Backup user with Arcserve Backup privileges.

Arcserve Backup Server Password

The password for the server user.

Confirm Backup Server Password

Confirm the backup server password by entering it again.

Backup Destination:

Group Name

The tape group name for the backup destination. Enter an asterisk ("*") for the current active tape group.

Media Name

The media name for backups and restores. Enter an asterisk ("*") for the current active media.
