Backup Browser Modes

The Backup Browser enables you to choose the source and destination for your backup, copy, and restore operations. The browser operates in two modes:

Machine tree--Used to view and select files, directories, drives, shares, machines, volumes, and servers.
Media tree--Used to select backup media.

The Browser mode is determined by the type of operation (for example, backup or restore) and whether the Source or Destination tab is selected.
