一般准则

下面是涉及 Microsoft Exchange 数据库的备份和还原操作的一般准则：

• 必须使用 VSS 和 Microsoft Exchange Writer 还原使用 VSS 备份的 Microsoft Exchange 数据库。
• 在备份作业开始之前，所有存储组必须联机。
• All the databases in the same storage group must be dismounted before a restore job starts, even if you are restoring only one database in the storage group, to allow Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to access all of the log files and bring the databases back on line.数据还原后，可以安装数据库并将存储组返回联机状态。
• Arcserve Backup 与 VSS 配合使用，仅可还原备份的数据。要将数据库完全恢复到一致的状态，必须执行一些 Exchange 特定的步骤来恢复日志。
