If you receive an AE9972 Object <Component Name> failed error in event OnRestore, perform the following tasks:
- Start the SPAdmin Windows Service, displayed as Windows SharePoint Services Administration.
- Go the SharePoint 3.0 Central Administration website and select Operations, Topology and Services, Services on Server.
- Choose the agent machine server and select the Custom radio box.
- Click Central Administration.
- Click Start.
- Run the job that previously failed, again.
