The Agent for Microsoft SharePoint Server requires Windows systems and supports the backup of the following SharePoint data:

• SharePoint server farm
• Web Applications
• Web Application content database
• Single Sign-On database
• Windows SharePoint Services Help Search
• Shared Services Provider
• Shared Services Provider content database
• Global Search Settings

Note: Throughout this guide, backward-compatible document libraries, Single Sign-On (encryption key component only), and search indexes are referred to as non-database data to distinguish this type of data from SharePoint database data.
