Scan Synthetic Full Backup Session Only

You can submit a separate media assure job to only scan all of the Synthetic Full Backup sessions.

To submit a media assure job to scan SFB sessions

  1. Open Media Assure and Scan Manager.
  2. Select the tape that contains the Synthetic Full Backup sessions and click Media Assure.
  3. Select the Enable Media Assure and Scan Synthetic Full Backup session only options, and click OK.
  4. Click Submit.

    The media assure job is submitted. The job scans all of the Synthetic Full Backup sessions on the tape that were not scanned previously.
