Post-Installation Tasks

Complete the following tasks before you start using the Arcserve Backup Image Option:

Note: These tasks do not apply to Windows Server 2012 systems.

Verify that the driver for the Arcserve Backup Image Option is loaded successfully by checking the registry key for the presence of the driver. An example of a registry key location is:
```
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\hbmnt
```
After rebooting, check the Windows Event Viewer to ensure that the driver HBMNT5.SYS loaded successfully. The driver is installed in the following location:
```
[System Root]\System32\drivers\hbmnt5.sys
```
