Find Media In Vault
The first step in establishing a vaulting policy is to create a vault. You can create vaults using the MM Admin.
A vault is any identifiable storage area or location that you define. Each vault contains slots, and each slot in the vault stores one tape volume. Each vault you create contains a specified number of slots, which are assigned to tape volumes when they are moved into the vault (also referred to as vaulting a tape volume).
The Find Media in Vault object provides the quickest way to search the vaults for a specific media. You can search for a media using its Tape Name or its case sensitive Serial Number.
