Arcserve Backup 將自身的驗證機制用於管理用途。當您安裝 Arcserve Backup 時，它會建立一個預設的使用者稱為 'caroot'。您可以使用 caroot 登入 Arcserve Backup 管理員主控台。

The caroot password can consist of any combination of alphanumeric and special characters, but may not exceed 15 bytes.總長 15 個位元組的密碼，約等於 7 至 15 個字元。
附註：Arcserve Backup user names control access to only Arcserve Backup functions, and should not be confused with the operating system-required login name and password.
