• 使用 VSS 備份的 Microsoft Exchange 資料庫，必須使用 VSS 與 Microsoft Exchange 編寫器還原。
• 所有儲存群組都必須在備份工作啟動之前上線。
• All the databases in the same storage group must be dismounted before a restore job starts, even if you are restoring only one database in the storage group, to allow Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to access all of the log files and bring the databases back on line.還原資料之後，便可以裝載資料庫而且儲存群組可以恢復為上線狀態。
• Arcserve Backup 和 VSS 搭配執行僅能還原已備份的資料。若要將資料庫完全復原為一致狀態，您必須執行 Exchange 專用的程序來復原日誌。
