編寫器和元件選項

編寫器和元件選項可讓您指定 Arcserve Backup 處理編寫器和元件的方式。這些全域選項會影響所有的編寫器，但具有特定編寫器選項的編寫器除外。如需有關設定編寫器特定選項的資訊，請參閱〈設定編寫器選項〉。

• Files included by a Writer will be excluded from file system backups:Select this option to prevent files that belong to a Component from being backed up by a traditional file system backup.此選項有下列優點：
  • 避免備份已由 VSS 備份的檔案。
  • 藉由排除傳統備份檔案的方式，可確保只需處理少量檔案，便能快速完成傳統備份。
  • 在必須以群組關係所處理的檔案中 (例如，與「編寫器」或資料庫應用程式關聯的檔案)，排除其相關的問題，藉以順利執行備份。在傳統備份中，沒有機制可以確保系統會一起處理檔案。
• Files excluded by a Writer will be excluded from file system backups:Select this option to prevent files that have been excluded from being backed up by a Component from being backed up by a traditional file system backup.這個選項會從任何檔案系統備份，排除與應用程式相關而不應備份的檔案 (例如 Windows 分頁檔案)。每個編寫器都會注意到其相關的應用程式是否含有這類檔案。此選項可讓 Arcserve Backup 在執行傳統備份時使用此資訊。
• If a Component file fails to back up the Writer backup will terminate:Select this option to cancel the backup of a Writer if the backup of any of its Components fails.如果元件的一或多個檔案無法成功備份，元件備份便會失敗。這個選項可確保在備份視為成功前，備份是一致的且已備份了所有與編寫器相關的檔案，無論與編寫器相關的元件有多少。
