When you select an entire node to back up, Arcserve Backup does not perform a raw backup of the physical volumes corresponding to Windows File System volumes. The Client Agent for Windows backs up these volumes in the traditional manner. In addition, Arcserve Backup does not perform raw backup on the physical disks that host any of the File System volumes, to avoid backing up duplicate data.
