Specify D2D/UDP Backup Options

From the Backup Manager, you can open the D2D/UDP Home Page so that you can specify D2D/UDP backup options. The backup options let you specify behaviors such as:

• The backup source and the backup destination
• The schedule for each type of backup
• The advanced settings for backup jobs
• Pre and post backup operations

Follow these steps:

1. Open the Arcserve Backup Manager Console.

   From the Quick Start menu, click Backup.

   The Backup Manager window opens.

2. Click the Source tab.

   The source tree appears.

3. Expand the D2D/UDP Servers object.

   Right-click the D2D/UDP server that you want to configure and click Modify D2D/UDP Backup Settings on the pop-up menu.

   The D2D/UDP Backup Settings dialog opens.

4. Specify the backup settings that you require for your D2D/UDP backups.

   Note: For more information about specifying D2D/UDP backup settings, click Help on the Backup Settings dialog.
