Set Access Permission on Dump Location

The accounts in the following table can access the shared folder:

Account

Database server's SQL Account

All permissions except Full Control

Read permission

All permissions except Full Control

All permissions except Full Control

When the database server's SQL account is on a Local system, grant the required permission to the SQL server computer. When you want to know who has been assigned permissions to the shared folder, open the Backup Manager, select the account, and then check the list of users who have permission to the shared folder.
