When you start the Console on your workstation, the main dialog opens. From this dialog, you can control and monitor Arcserve Backup on the selected computer.
The File Servers field lists the active Windows server that the agent found on your network. The Windows network is shown as a separate hierarchy that you can expand or collapse.
To add a specific computer to the console display, click Find and enter the name of the computer. To search your entire network, click Scan.
The following icons represent the state of the agent on each server:
