Cannot Log in to the Agent from the Backup Manager

Valid on Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8 platforms.

Symptom

When you try to view the node from the Backup Manager, you cannot view the following items (properties):

Solution

This behavior occurs because the user account that was used to log in to the node does not possess the credentials that are required to establish a remote connection to the node. To correct this behavior, try to access the administrative shares, such as \\Node\C$, and then correct the issues related to security policies and user credentials that prevent you from accessing the shares from a remote location. After the issues related to security policies and user credentials are updated, you should be able to log in to the node successfully and view the items listed under Symptoms.
