Recover Entire Clusters

To recover an entire cluster

  1. To recover all secondary nodes, perform the following procedure:
    1. Stop the cluster services on all nodes.
    2. Disconnect the shared disks from the secondary node.
    3. Shut down all nodes.
    4. Follow the disaster recovery procedure to recover the secondary node.
    5. If there is more than one secondary node, repeat the previous steps to recover all secondary nodes.
    6. Shut down all secondary nodes while recovering the primary node with shared disks resources.

Note: All nodes and shared disks should be shut down at this time.

  2. To recover the primary node with shared disks failure, perform the following tasks:
    1. Follow the disaster recovery procedure to recover the primary node.
    2. Start all shared disks.
    3. When the restoration is complete, reboot the primary node.
    4. Start the cluster services on the primary node.
    5. Restart all secondary nodes.
    6. Start the cluster services on the secondary node.

Your cluster should now be back online.
