Delete the Microsoft SharePoint Website and Uninstall Microsoft SharePoint
You can delete the Microsoft SharePoint website and uninstall Microsoft SharePoint.
To delete the Microsoft SharePoint website and uninstall Microsoft SharePoint
- From the Start menu, select Control Panel and click Add or Remove Programs.
- Select Microsoft SharePoint 2.0 and all MSDE components (SharePoint and SBSMonitoring) to uninstall them.
- From the Internet Information Service (IIS) Manager Console Administrative Tools, under Websites, delete the companyweb and SharePoint Central Administration Web sites.
- In the IIS Manager, under Application Pools, right-click StsAdminAppPool and select Delete from the pop-up menu.
- Delete or rename the Microsoft SharePoint and companyweb folders.
- Delete the following registry keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MicrosoftSQL Server\SHAREPOINT HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Intranet
