Note: Throughout this guide, backward-compatible document libraries, Single Sign-On (encryption key component only), and search indexes are referred to as non-database data to distinguish this type of data from SharePoint database data.

You must protect customized template and configuration files stored on front-end web servers with a file system backup. The agent does not provide support for these files:

• IIS (Internet Information Server) metabase
• SharePoint extended virtual server root directories
• Custom web part assemblies
• Custom SharePoint templates and configuration files
• Any add-on software used by the SharePoint sites
