Add an NAS Server
To add an NAS Server, perform the following procedure:
- Start Device Configuration.
- From the Options section, select the NAS Servers option button and click Next.
- Click the Add unfold button and select NAS Server.
- Click the New Server text and enter the name of the NAS Server. To choose the server from a list of computers on your network, click the ellipsis button to open the Choose Server dialog.
- Click the Administrator text under the User column to add the name of a user with Administrator privileges on the NAS server.
- Click the area under the password column, click the ellipsis button, and enter the required security information.
- Clear the Continue Configuring Your Library Devices check box.
After you complete this step, DDS will be enabled for use.
- Click Finish.
- Restart the Tape Engine.
